What We Are Not.

We are not our pulled putts,

A nice blue-sky over a local links course

Nor our sliced drives;

We are not our chili-dips,

Or our plugged lies;

We go from bunker to bunker

across the green,

Our heads held high;

We are not our bogeys, our birdies

Or even our pars.

We are not a 116,

or even a 64

We are not our scores.

A little drop of perspective. Please apply liberally to your thoughts.

    I learned a long time ago, that the people at home (wife & son) could care less what I shot on the golf course that day. I sometimes get wrapped up in my scores. I get over it in a hurry! Nice job!
